Based upon the evidential examples presented below, it would be fair to say Michael has engaged in what may be reasonably categorized as intimidation and cyberbullying.

» Blocking Instagram User(s):

In a private DM conversation (May 21, 2024 to June 23, 2024) between Michael and a user representing to be part of a potential donor group, the user requested Michael provide details of Flying "L" Ranch programs to which donations might be directed. The user sought assurances that "donations go towards verifiable projects, regardless of the organization's registered or non-registered charity status". The user sought details specific to the GoFundMe campaign soliciting donations for the "Weiser Strong Fund Phase 1 Tack Shed with Wing" (June 17, 2024):

The GoFundMe page informs us that the first of three phases was scheduled to be completed by May 2023 (Completion of the tack and tool building with a handling wing) and the second phase by the year's end 2023 (Equine Barn).

Prior to consideration of fulfilling, or possibly exceeding, the ultimate goal of this campaign via our anonymous donation, it would be very useful if you could inform us of the current status of phases of the program, particularly phases 1 & 2 targeted for completion in 2023, and/or if the scheduling of phase completion has changed, which would be understandable.

Perhaps in addition to your written comments you might add photos?

Michael's response was to direct the user to forward any future communications to the ranch's lawyer, Royal J. Morton of McQuarrie Hunter LLP, and then block the user.

Subsequent to this exchange, and sometime after November 5, 2024,, Michael deleted this campaign from GoFundMe.

» Cyberbullying and Branding Someone a "Hater":

Here's an example of Michael publicly disparaging a woman named Andrea, calling her a "hater", and threating a lawsuit:

You've gonna make a fine little piece of my lawsuit, I'll tell you that. ... She's going to be first on the list.

Text over the story reads: "The reason for today's reactionary flurry of posts"

On March 22, 2025, Michael posted a video story directed to the woman who was the object of the example above asking that she contact him:

I've got some paperwork I would like to send you. It's of great importance.

» Lawyer's Letters and Threats of Civil Conspiracy Lawsuit:

» (1) February 16, 2024:

Michael's Flying "L" Ranch Instagram Post of February 16, 2024 is a letter written by Royal J. Morton of McQuarrie Hunter LLP is pinned to the landing page. Similar letters, such as this one, were sent individually.

The text in this Instagram post reads:

This is a public announcement regarding action we are taking against individuals making ridiculous and false slanderous and defaming statements against me, my family, the ranch and others who have visited here.

We are pursuing a civil conspiracy lawsuit against several people and ask you to come forward with any evidence or observations regarding this matter.

Please refrain from contacting me or my family directly with information and send your correspondence purposely to the law firm mentioned in the post.

We and so many more need to put a stop to social media bullying and false defaming statements made against those out there. This isn’t just about us.

It’s been far too easy for bad people to hide behind social media inflicting damaging action on others as 99% of it goes unchallenged.

We are also working closely with Instagram with all the evidence I and many others have collected over the past few months. So thank you to all who have assisted me to this point.

Remember, just because you delete a DM message doesn’t mean Instagram can’t still observe it. Within that ability conspiring messages and bullying intent can be uncovered. Particularly recruiting larger accounts to defame others. All reported accounts are now being monitored by IG. Cell phone logs can be subpoenaed.

We are taking this head on here at the Flying L and intend to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Letters of cease and desist are being sent directly to all perpetrators over the next few days.

» Filing a Notice of Civil Claim (the "Civil Conspiracy Lawsuit"):

(1) December 20, 2024:

On December 20, 2024 Michael posted a video story notifying an UPDATE to his pinned post of February 16, 2024:

My update on our efforts with this case and cease and desist and civil conspiracy defamation case is pinned in the comments! Please read and I welcome your comments.

One must scroll through the post's comments to locate the "UPDATE" text, which reads:

UPDATE: December 20, 2024: Well it’s been an amazing year, but with distractions per this situation, so it’s time to do a little house keeping.

I’ve had my legal team on this case for 14 months and we have collected well over 700 pieces of content as evidence on at least 6 key egoic [sic] and hateful perpetrators.

I was trying to serve this civil suit before the end of the year, but proving defamation is a meticulous and delicate effort. My council and I have dealt with this in a very thorough, precise and professional manner.

That being said, soon in 2025 I will spare no exercise, expense or effort in fully prosecuting the individuals who have been purposefully and maliciously slandering and defaming myself, my family and our effort here at the ranch.

I would mention them but have been advised by my counsel to not do so, nor announce an exact date for the time of my filing of this civil conspiracy defamation suit. However, all shall become apparent in due course.

TO THE SLANDERERS, I suggest you remove or delete any and all published material on websites, instagram reels, posts and/or highlights, Facebook posts and other mediums. By not doing so you’re in violation of the posted cease and desist dated February 16, 2024, which you all were served a copy of and you’re continuing to add to the evidence against you.

Also, the comments sections on all sites have been documented and those participating in the hatred and vile conversations have also been submitted as evidence.

To persons who have defended us and stood up against these individuals, I and my family personally thank you. That effort has been noted.

Now that I’ve made my position public, let’s get back to the horses and everyone have a wonderful holiday season!

On March 21, 2025 Michael posted a video story notifying another UPDATE to this post:

Included with this story is the text of the UPDATE found in the pinned post which reads:

UPDATE: March 21, 2025: I filed a notice of civil claim for conspiracy defamation in the B.C. courts this week against 7 people including a John/Jane Doe clause which envelopes several other perpetrators with any and all participation of defamation regarding this situation past, current and future.

This has been an arduous investigation and process over the last 16 months and the entire Lares family thanks you for your understanding and support.

If our page has seemed a bit different over the last year, this is why. But we have done our best to keep content coming your way through out.

(3) March 27, 2025:

On March 27, 2025 Michael posted a video which commenced with another update:

First Live in 5 1/2 months! First is an update on the civil conspiracy defamation case then we settle in with the horses!

Michael begins the video by announcing he has filed a "civil conspiracy defamation case":

On March 19th, I filed a notice of civil claim against seven people, identified people, in British Columbia, in the U.S., and over in Europe, for, as a, with a civil conspiracy defamation case.
...
It took months to pull together. It's a 29-page document just chock full of nasty, disgusting, vile accusations and defaming statements made about myself and family. So we're handlin' it classically with attorneys ...
