We figured out who he is! He belongs to a elder cowboy(93 years old) out there that ran off with wild horses this past spring!!! He's been out trying to survive since and is doing poorly. He came up to me whiile I was off ranch, certainly asking for help.

His name is LT - Lieutenant and he's goinf to need a lot of help! With winter just setting in he won't last long. So we're getting him tomorrow and will bring him back to the ranch to start his care.

Let's do our best to save LT

LT is the saddle horse to a local indigenous Cowboy Elder (age 93). His horse escaped in the Spring of this year and has been on the run since. He's obviously malnourished and his health is in trouble.

He came up to me yesterday and its obvious he's asking for help. Winter has begun and he will not survive long without intervention, meds and feed.

The Owner gave us permission to try and help him. The only condition is if we can save LT, we keep him and give him a good home.

So its time for us to rally as a community and do everything to get him the best possible care we can. We've done it many times before. But this horse is the worst off we have seen body score wise so we have a tall order ahead of us to turn him around, especially with winter here.

That means vet assistance, supplementation, premium feed and around the clock care in the Weiser Strong facility. Winter has set in and the roads are treacherous for transport. So we will start his care here at the ranch.
